Any equipment that is no longer of use the the District must be taken to the Board for approval and declared as " Surplus Property". Once that occurs, if the equipment is still in working condition, it is listed for public auction at the following website:

Notice of Auction of Surplus Assets
On an as-needed basis, Sequoia Union High School District will be disposing of surplus personal property by public auction, online auction, sealed bid, or other appropriate method of disposal. Most surplus items will be disposed of through the on‐line auction firm GovDeals. Current online auctions may be viewed at: https://www.govdeals.com/SequoiaUnionHSD
Other means of disposal are also used depending on the marketability of the item(s). Other methods used may include direct sale of low value items, trade‐ins, or donation to other government agencies or non‐profits.
The disposal of surplus District personal property will be conducted in accordance with Education Code Sections 17545 and 17546.
