- I have a special event coming up tomorrow, can Reprogrpahics rush my order?
- No. All orders are printed in the order they are submitted. If you have a special event that you want to utilize Reprographics for, you must submit the order in plenty of time for it to be processed and you'll need to submit it extra early if it has any special handling such as lamination, binding, folding, or the printing of posters, etc.
Your other options would be to print the order yourself at your own school site or to have it printed by an outside printer such as Kinkos or Office Depot.

- How large of a poster or decal can be printed by Reprographics?
- VERY LARGE! - Anything larger than 12" x 18" gets printed on our latex printer on rolls of substrate up to 54" wide.
Over the past few years, we have printed banners over 35 feet long and 54" tall. We've also printed wall panels that were tiled together to make larger images.
We can pretty much print whatever you want, BUT it all depends on whether or not you have vector images to print from. If you are just wanting us to enlarge an image you found off the internet, it will look horrible and pixelated when enlarged.

- How do I know if my artwork will look good once it's enlarged?
- If you zoom in on the artwork on your own computer screen and it looks pixelated, that's a sure sign that it will look that way when it's enlarged on a printer.
We do not have a way to make your non-vector images look clear. The only way to do that is to re-create your original document with all vector images.

- What is a vector image?
- Vector images are art that's made up of vector graphics. These graphics are points, lines, curves, and shapes that are based on mathematical formulas.
When you scale a vector image file, it isn't in low resolution and there's no loss of quality, so it can be sized to however large or small you need it to be. (from Adobe.com)

- How do I know if my file is a vector image?
- One way is to do the zoom-in test as mentioned above. Also, you can check to make sure the file type is one of the following:
AI (Adobe Illustrator), EPS (Encapsulated PostScript), INDD (Adobe InDesign), SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics, and PDF (Portable Document Format).
Keep in mind that it's entirely possible document was created with NON-Vector artwork and then saved in one of the formats above. If that's the case, the images will still look pixelated when scaled up.
