District Approved Applications and Software

Below are the applications and sotwares that are shared and supported district-wide.

Canvas

The district’s Learning Management System that is used by students and teachers for posting content and assignments.

 

 

Google Suite

An online office productivity suite that includes Google products such a Docs, Slides, Sheets, Meet, Keep and more. It is primarily used for the email feature.

 

 

Office 365

An online office productivity suite that includes Microsoft products such as web versions of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Teams, Sway, and more. It is primarily used for the email feature.

 

 

EdPuzzle

Teachers can create interactive videos to promote student learning.

 

 

Zoom

An online video conferencing platform that allows for synchronous and asynchronous communication. This platform will be used for our students and teachers while distance learning.

 

 

FlipGrid

An online application that allows teachers to create "grids" to facilitate video discussions.

 

 

LoomPro

A screen recording solution for teachers to “capture” their monitor to share with their students or colleagues.

 

 

PearDeck

Teachers can turn their Google Slides into formative assessments by enabling teachers with the ability to engage students through interactive questions.

 

 

Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Adobe XD, Fresco, Premiere Rush, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Dimension, Acrobat Pro DC, Dreamweaver, Animate, Audition, Character, Animator, Spark, Bridge, Media Encoder, InCopy, Prelude, Substance, Fuse. Sequoia UHSD students and staff must request for access by submitting a work request through GetHelp

 

 

Gale Cengage

An online library resource that contains a vast digital archive of research databases, reference books. (both eBook and print), and more!
