Parent Notification Letter
Annual Parent Notification Information
The California Education Code provides for notification of the options available to you regarding your right to exclude your student from certain designated activities that your student's high school may offer during the school year. Education Code Sections 48980 through 48984 require school districts to give parents this notification at the beginning of every year.
El Código de Educación de California estipula notificar a los padres las opciones a su disposición con respecto a su derecho de excluir a su estudiante en la escuela secundaria de ciertas actividades designadas que la escuela a la que el estudiante asiste podría ofrecer durante el año escolar. Las secciones números 48980 al 48984 del Código de Educación del estado de California requieren que cada año los distritos escolares notifiquen a los padres acerca de dichas actividades.
